Hello Dali

Hello Dali

The Topic: Perception (yours & mine)

What say our Rosicrucian Brothers & Sisters ?

    respectfully, Bother Jules

There is no truth.
There is only perception.
- Gustave Flaubert

The World Exists as You Perceive it…
It is Not what You See,
but How You See it…
It is Not what You Hear,
but How You Hear it…
It is Not what You Feel…
but How You Feel it.
 - Rumi

Not what we experience,
but how we perceive what we experience,
determines our fate.
- Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach

We don't live in the world of reality,
we live in the world of how we perceive reality.
- Bryan Singer

Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.
- Wayne Dyer

Dali is correct, dear Jules.  Mental illnesses and original creativity are correlated.

  • Yep, Fr. Raymond,  there is only one kind of truth...that being "T H E  T R U T H"

….remembering an old radio show from my youth, entitled "Truth or Consequences"....there are always consequences to an un-truth.

    as ever, Br. Jules

Thank you Fr. Jules.  The above is a good reflection of many people's thinking.  Dali's paints an interesting scene, not of reality, but reality skewed by a persons own distorted view of it.

In my understanding, I agree only with Rumi.   With Wayne Dyer, in my thinking, there is needed a modification to his statement to read:

Misunderstanding in our  Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.

The other people making these quotes, appear to have rejected the scriptures, and sacred writings of the prophets waxing philosophical, but none the less, preach their own version of the truth.

There is no such thing as your truth, my truth, their truth.  There is only TRUTH, or error; TRUTH, or falsehood. TRUTH, or superstition; TRUTH or delusion.

    All the best to you,

  • Perception

You nailed it Sr. Stephanie, when you said " .... why an open heart is so important."

I'm recalling, those may years ago in an Art Class at our Community College.

The Prof...on day one, asking a simple question: What is Art ?

The answers from the students varied, while they all seemed true & honest, there was actually no agreement!

The Prof. finally provided her perspective: "Art is anything you can get away with."

So it is, the "open heart" you mentioned truly fosters the "open mind"  resulting in tolerance, leading to acceptance and ultimately love!

Wishing you a lovely weekend, in humility, Brother Jules

    Ah,,,

This is why its so important to have an open heart when we communicate our experiences and have an intention of light, life, love, and goodwill.  Because if we do, we support the person on the other end to have their own experience of it; it might be the same, close to, or completely different but if out there with heart and love, it becomes a vessel for transformation.

If we work with the energies of the Rosicrucian group then we answer the needs of the whole.  Again, why an open heart is so important.
