God of my Heart

Hello Friends, been busy working on some spiritual love stories so not much time to post.  But, today, I have another question for each of you.

Why are you afraid to love another?  Have you been hurt in love?  Do you not trust love?  Is your love mainly for yourself?

If you are afraid to love someone, you will be afraid to love God for God wants you to use God's Love in daily life.

Have fun, kids.

Ciao Michael

  • Beautifully said...thanks Fr. JPG....

Here is something I have just discovered un Urantia, seems appropriate:

..155:6.3 (1731.1) I have called upon you to be born again, to be born of the spirit. I have called you out of the darkness of authority and the lethargy of tradition into the transcendent light of the realization of the possibility of making for yourselves the greatest discovery possible for the human soul to make—the supernal experience of finding God for yourself, in yourself, and of yourself, and of doing all this as a fact in your own personal experience. And so may you pass from death to life, from the authority of tradition to the experience of knowing God; thus will you pass from darkness to light, from a racial faith inherited to a personal faith achieved by actual experience; and thereby will you progress from a theology of mind handed down by your ancestors to a true religion of spirit which shall be built up in your souls as an eternal endowment.

  • Begs the question, as devils advocate......How would anyone really know what our Creator wants?

Does our Creator truly have "wants" and needs?

Why would our Creator "love" us?

Perhaps the term, Love, being contrived from solely human emotion, is not a valid way of calculating a measure upon a Supreme Being.

In the meantime, there seems to be a whole bunch of mystics and deep thinkers within our ranks attempting to answer the unanswerable!

    Great fun...thanks Fr. Michael!

    in awe & humility,

  • No, Michael I'm just curious. You too.

  • Thanks, Avery.  I appreciate your support.  Are you a physicist per chance?  Have a nice weekend.

  • Einstein of all scientists had longest and most striking list of results and made most mistakes in his work. So, don't doubt your self. As far as space or time not being defined by QM calculations is because in QM there is no time and none of the equations have t as a variable. In QM things continuously change from one state to another as particles entangle and disentangle. As more and more particles entangle with one another to make a specific object the state of the whole object entanglement gets very complicated. For instance water in a pot on the stove is in an entangled coherent state but as it sits there its particles begin to entangle with an environment and decoherence starts to happen to the water. Time is, is how long the object will stay in coherence. If you turn up the heat the process speeds up until there is no more water. But of course there must be an observer to for this process to happen. A watched pot never boils. :-)

  • George, the really curious point, which makes me elated, is that none can absolutely answer this question since we have no secondary method to prove what we have chosen to believe.

Though, personally I find the existence of a Godhead more likely than not, that a few people earn the right to reincarnate and complete their soul seed, that the Godhead is a Tetrad and not a Trinity, that there is a dream plane, that all of us live in a conjoint virtual world, the physical plane is an Actuality and much more, as a scientist and knowledgeable being, I cannot prove any of it--as personal experiences in the virtual are not definitive.

So what do I do, I try to live my life as I imagine God would want me to live, I do my best to love unconditionally, and do good works.  My existence after this incarnation is in the hands of something richer in knowledge and love than I am.

I live as if I were a Taoist, I guess.  I have few worries, even when things are not good.

Most importantly, I never feel alone or unloved.  Have I been a good mystic and surrendered my will and humanness to God in love???  It is amusing to think that perhaps I have done so and I am still here, just an improved creature.

i think if I knew the full answers, I would be quite bored and unhappy about my life and our species.

My conclusion, we live in a system which evolves for the benefit of conscious creatures.

    Blessings, Michael

  • These calculations are in error for they fail to be able to define space or time.  I may be wrong, but my models will cancel out any positive energy at the zero-point to zero.  As I have no time to publish, it remains an unsolved aberration of QM.

As I am convinced we can never fully understand Brahman Unmanifest, and actually there is no need too, the mystical path remains the only valid one.

  • Quantum physicists calculate the zero-point radiation of the vacuum field to be an order of magnitude greater than nuclear energy, with a single light bulb containing enough energy to boil all the world's oceans. So much for nothing being a no thing. All things originate from no things. It is the implicit order versus the explicit order in QM.
